This one-day workshop will introduce the key skills and principles of mindfulness and show how it can help us navigate the female cycle with more ease and clarity.

As women, our cycles are closely connected to our sense of wellbeing. Over the course of a single month, a range of hormone fluctuations play out in our bodies, triggering an influx of moods and emotions that impact our actions and judgments. By using mindfulness to tune in and listen to our bodies, we can learn to better regulate our energy and emotions, and develop skillful ways of supporting ourselves with self-care and compassion as we move through all the highs and lows of our cycles.

By taking a mindful approach and bringing more awareness to our menstrual cycle and its different phases, we can:

  • Develop a greater sense of connection to our bodies and physical needs
  • Recognise patterns of moods and behaviours in each phase
  • Manage our energy in an efficient and sustainable way
  • Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
  • Cultivate practical methods of self-care in daily life
  • Adapt our expectations and plans to accommodate the times when we are likely to feel unwell or low in energy.
