About the Workshop

Feeling stressed, anxious or out of control can easily amount to a poor night's sleep. Lying in bed feeling physically tired with the mind full of racing thoughts, worrying about what to do in order to get to sleep, can eventually turn into a pattern.

Learning to be open to thoughts as they arise, mindfully observing them and choosing to let them be can put an end to this struggle.

By noticing thoughts and gently shifting back to the present moment, you can offer your body the opportunity to be calm, and to drift into sleep mindfully.

This two-hour online workshop will provide you with a better understanding of:

  • The vicious cycle of stress, control, and sleep struggle
  • How to mindfully anchor
  • How to acknowledge and open up to unwanted thoughts
  • How to create healthy sleep habits

Notes:

  • No previous experience of mindfulness is needed.
  • The workshop is designed for people who find themselves struggling with sleep from time to time, especially during stressful periods. It aims to prevent rather than treat insomnia.
  • The workshop is not a substitute for psychotherapy.
  • The workshop will be held online via Zoom. Participants will receive the link a few days before the workshop.
