This is a dedicated retreat day for those who have attended the 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) course or who have an equivalent compassionate practice. It offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect with and deepen your mindfulness-based compassion practice with the support of a teacher and among fellow practitioners.

The retreat will be held in silence, offering time to pause and treat yourself to a day out. It is also a great time to consider qualities such as gratitude, compassion and kindness and how we can best cultivate them in our lives.

The day will be experiential, with a mixture of sitting and walking meditation, and guided and unguided practice, including the core practices of the MSC course as well as new material.

Please bring your own lunch or feel free to visit one of the restaurants in the neighbourhood during the break. You are also welcome to bring any mats, cushions, or blankets you like to use in your home practice. We recommend you dress comfortably, in non-restrictive clothing.

NOTE: This retreat is intended ONLY for people who have already completed an 8-Week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Course, or for those who have a similar Compassion practice.
