Forgiveness can be one of the most challenging processes that we go through, and yet it’s what many of us long for – to free ourselves from anger and blaming, and to let go of past conflicts and old resentments that can cause pain to ourselves and those around us. Self-compassion, with its focus on acceptance and loving-kindness, is uniquely positioned to be able to help us to understand and embrace the process of forgiveness.

This day-long workshop will guide you through meditations, exercises and contemplations that will help you to work towards forgiveness. Open to all graduates of the 8-Week Mindful Self-Compassion course, it is an opportunity to build on the resources gained during the programme and to deepen your existing practice.

Exploring the various stages of forgiveness through the mindful self-compassion model, you will gain a clearer understanding of the process of forgiveness and the steps you can take to forgive yourself and forgive others. You will also learn how self-compassion can help you to let go of difficult emotions and transform resentment, with a view to finding more peace in your life.
